La Désirade is a small island of 11 km by 2 km located in the Caribbean and dependent on Guadeloupe. An island preserved from mass tourism and remained in the wild. A single paved road, wind turbines for electricity, running water which only arrived in 1991… we are far from the charter islands and that is its charm. An island to dream and disconnect, far from the pressure of civilization, watching the cetaceans pass offshore... "Oh, so desired island..." is what the sailors of Christopher Columbus sang in chorus , facing this first land sighted 21 days after leaving the Canary Islands. Hence its much envied name: La Désirade! An island so desired that we even made a poster of it so that you could fly there in the blink of an eye...
