It is nicknamed “the large pancake” due to its circular shape and low relief. Others prefer the nickname “island of a hundred mills” in reference to the old buildings that line its sugar cane fields. We could just as well call it the “postcard of the Caribbean” with its countless white sand beaches lined with coconut palms and its turquoise lagoons surrounded by coral reefs… Unless, a little chauvinistic, we prefer it the nickname “homeland of sugar cane… and rum”. The assets of the third largest island in the French West Indies are turning heads... Be intoxicated by its beauty with this decorative poster of the island of Marie-Galante, seen from the sky, by ikonik!
