The only wooded island in the Bouches-du-Rhône, Île Verte is a small uninhabited island, located 550 m off the coast of La Ciotat, in the Mediterranean Sea. And when we say small, it's very small... since it measures no more than 430 m by 260 m, in its largest dimensions. And that is undoubtedly one of the reasons for its success. In 10 minutes by boat, you are on an island of Robinson, without any vehicle, not even a bicycle (or even a trash can). Just three beaches, a path that circles the island, a fort in ruins and creeks overlooking clear waters full of fish, to the delight of lovers of idleness, easy hiking or diving.
