The only wooded island in the Bouches-du-Rhône, Île Verte is a small, uninhabited island located 550 m off the coast of La Ciotat in the Mediterranean Sea. And when we say small, we mean very small... since it measures no more than 430 m by 260 m, at its largest. And this is undoubtedly one of the reasons for its success. In 10 minutes by boat, you are on a Robinson Crusoe island, without any vehicles, not even a bicycle (or even a trash can). Just three beaches, a path that goes around the island, a ruined fort and coves overlooking clear, fish-filled waters, for the delight of lovers of relaxation, easy hiking or diving.
